It is expected that use of waterbased paints and coatings in industrial applications will lead in the future. In this way, it will be possible to drastically reduce solvent emissions during paint processing and significantly reduce the impact on the environment.
The decisive process step, on which the quality of all the paints depends, is the dispersion of the pigments in the liquid phase. This process is crucial for the hiding power and colour of the paint, but also for the mechanical properties of the painted surface.
The waterbased paints put additional requirements on process management and the units used due to their special flow properties and limited processing temperature.
