Crystalising
If a liquid or gaseous product hardens by forming crystals, it is called crystallization. This process takes place mainly by cooling below the melting point, condensation from the vapour phase or as crystallization of supersaturated solutions.
ProXES crystallization systems are mainly used in the chemical and cosmetic-pharmaceutical industry, less frequently in the food industry. Typical products are suppository masses, creams and/or ointments, where precise temperature control in the process is a prerequisite for high product quality. In addition to exact, intelligent data acquisition and control, this also requires the use of high-performance, wall-mounted scraper agitators as an essential mechanical engineering element.
